are P^(QVR) and (P^Q)V(P^R) logically equivalent?

myininaya (myininaya):

Are you have trouble with true table?

myininaya (myininaya):

truth table*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

myininaya (myininaya):

You have 3 parts: P, Q, R So you will need 2^3 rows

myininaya (myininaya):

P Q R Q V R P^(Q V R) P^Q P^R (P^Q)V(P^R) First for my P, Q, R columns I would think of every possible true and false thingy combination.

myininaya (myininaya):

Can you do that part?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For my p column i use the order ttffttff. for Q i use the order tftftftf. and for the r column i use ttttffff. i just have trouble doing the other columns

myininaya (myininaya):

So for Q V R If Q=R=T then Q V R=T If Q=T, R=F then Q V R =T If Q=F, R=T then Q V R = (I will let you say for this one) If Q=F, R=F then Q V R=F

myininaya (myininaya):

So for V If both are true, then V is true If both are false, then V is false If one is false, then V is true

myininaya (myininaya):

So for ^ Both have to be true, in order for ^ to be true
