Add the complex expressions, and simplify. (6.6 – 3i) + (1.7 + i) i came up with 8.3-2i

Looks good to me! Just treat the real numbers and complex numbers separately when adding, which you did!

i added the 6.6 and 1.7 then subtracted i from 3i
