OpenStudy (anonymous):

which of these is zero when the ball has reached the maximum height? a)the speed of the ball b)the velocity of the ball c)the acceleration of the ball

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i THINK its speed because velocity is "the rate at which and object changes its position" im not 100% sure though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a ball usually hovers in the air a moment right?at that one split second its as high as it can be it has zero speed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think.lol sorry not to great at this stuff xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that velocity is gonna be 0 for sure, i just dont know about speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but thank you anyways!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problemlol!ns sorry i sent that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*resent

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Speed is simply the magnitude of velocity, so you should conclude pretty easily.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry im not great at math 0_o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or physics...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so does that mean the speed is gonna be 0 at maximum height also?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Yep!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused its speed AND velocity then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah it is lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol alright then.this is probably why i ahve a C- in physics... xD
