Is there a way to lessen the load on the web site so that weaker computers can handle the strain? Perhaps make an option to disable all the extra stuff that pops up when you highlight a person's name.

No my computer at work is just a piece of junk. At home, my computer runs this website just fine. At work, the live preview of my reply freezes up my computer.

Work does not want you on websites such as google, so you really think they want you on openstudy...during work hours they expect work not answering questions for other people.

actually google is allowed at work. I answer questions during downtime, such as waiting for stress analysis to run.

@2le — honestly, I may look into seeing if we can automatically disable the live preview if we see that it's behaving slowly.
