Graph one hectometer on a logarithmic scale. (I just need to know what number to put it on)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

logarithmic scale is 1-10-100-1000-10000 etc. multiples of 10, assuming you are using base 10 here idk what a hectometer is off the top of my head, but figure out what power of 10 it is (meters are based on powers of 10) and then you will have an answer. for instance, if its 10^5, then your answer would be (5, 100000)

one hectometer is 1oo meters so does that make the answer 2? I basically just have to plot the exponet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if your graph is measured in metres, then a hectometer would be 10^2 meteres so yes, if you need the exponential, it is 2
