please help =*( The world population in 1950 was 2.6 billion. By The beginning of 2000, it had reached 6.0 billion. What is the percentage change in world population from 1950 to 2000?

First figure out the change: (6 - 2.6). Then figure out what that is as a percent of the original population.
yea i got that part the second part tho...
By second part, do you mean how to figure out the percentage? Just divide the change by the original and multiply by 100.
