OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha i have the height in inches but i need the arm span.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can anyone help ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its difficuilt lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know. but seems like noone can help :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

no formula in your notes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my notes ?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

unless this is just a random question....?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its for a project. and i have to take 5 different hieghts and figure out the arm span in inchs and their height in inches. i have the height but i need the arm span. can you help me :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

try measuring your height...then measure your arm span....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i found something may be that would help you

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

then you can estimate the arm span of the other heights

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

it's not exact...but it's good enough without knowing a formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check this site there is a table may be that help you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i already measured myself. that was step one in the project. but i still need to know the arm span for these heights.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

what's your height?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mikaa_toxica13 for different armspans the hight is given in the table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@03453660 i need inches. not centimeters. sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

convert it into inches its not difficuilt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 inch = 2.54 cm

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i think the point of their project is to teach them how to use algebra....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

//_--

OpenStudy (anonymous):

convert all your hights to cm use the table and reconvert into inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i seriously doubt that everyone of the same height has the same arm span just saying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ik. but i still need help none the less

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a quick google search finds daVinci thought they were equal, but that would make the problem trivial. is there some ratio you were given to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this site also says they are equal http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081125120705AAAOrGA
