Guys can we make Windows OS or any other OS completely free from viruses so that there should not be any need to install any antivirus s/w??? What all points we need to consider for that??

It won't be possible, not now or even the future. First, a virus is a code that interrupts the normal computer operation. When someone installs something, or even opens a picture, the code that is embedded in that object gets put into the OS. The way that Windows OS are made or any other OS are made is that they don't always detecct this "code." So as long as there will be any type of computer out there, people will make these codes (viruses) that will be destructive.
