pitch is a relative term. if one frequency say 400 hz is higher than other of 200 hz than the pitch of sound having frequency 400 hz is higher than that of 200 hz. frequency below 20 hz cannot be heard by humans some animal uses low frequency below 20 hz for communication like rihno
