can someone help me with geometry crap?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the question here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you take a picture of your screen because its asking me to log into ur book...send a picture n ill help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant. thats ok. thanks for ur help anyways! i fanned u anyways! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just go to your screen and press Ctrl and PrtSc on your keyboard....then paste the picture on a document and attach it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

# 15 please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you might need to zoom in. sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we know that \( x+(x+y)=180\) and \((x+y)=2y\) ......look at the graph now just solve :) \[x+x+y=180\]\[2x+y=180\]\[x+y=90\]\[y=90-x\]then plug that into the second equation \(x+y=2y\)\[x+(90-x)=2(90-x)\]\[90=180-2x\]\[-90=-2x\]\[x=45\]now put that back into \(y=90-x\) \[y=90-45\]\[y=45\] we get \(x=45\) and \(y=45\) so im not sure if the picture is just not to scale but check the answer in the back of the book and let me know :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant to say to look at the picture not the graph, sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats ok. Thanks lots! it makes sense now :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the answer correct though??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you check the answer??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i didnt. hold on.
