what is a sixteenth note as a decimal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldn't that be 0.0625? Sorry, never heard of asking for a decimal number for a musical note. Anyway, 16 x 0.0625 = 1 whole.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A sixteenth is just that! 1/16. If a whole note is 1/1 and a half note is 1/2 (0.5) then 1/16 = 0.0625

type 1/16 in calc. ??? profit
