Identify which distributive property problem below would help you solve the following scenario: Your English class has 23 students. You would like to treat the class to cookies. You would like each person to have 3 cookies. Which expression would be a quick way to figure out how many cookies you would need to bake? 3(23 + 3) 3(20 − 3) 3(23 − 3) 3(20 + 3)

what am i doing teaching an english class? i have no idea about english!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but, you need to bake 3 cookies for every 1 person, so for 1 person you need 3 x 1 cookies, for two people you need 3 x 2 cookies etc. (Hint: (20 + 3) = 23
