graph each linear equation x+y=2
Solve the equation for y then plug it into the calc and graph it.
how do u do that
subtract x to the other side.
the equation would now be y= 2-x
Now graph it.
is there any way you can show me how to graph
the slope would be -1 and the y intercept would be 2
is the line suppose to be straight
yeah sorry
so how did u get that can u show the steps please
Well I use rise over run and the slope. which means I did it algebraically instead of graphically. I will still get the same answer.
yes linear graphing can lead to its correct and accurate solution
@Ck[-.-] you graph is wrong.
it should be in the other direction. Thats what my calc says.
yeah sorry my brother totally just stole my computer. and he doesnt know how to graph lines
oh ok lol
hw does the graph suppose to be please help
i have truble graphing
The 2 is the y intercept, which means it goes up 2 since its positive. The -x (also is -1x) is the slope it help determine which direction and what type of graph it is.
slope-intercept form y=mx+b
