estimate the value r=6(70)^1/3 or 6 times cube root 70 using differentials applied to the function f(x)= 6x^(1/3) and x=64. I took the derivative and got 1/8 and applied to linear approximation....L(x)=24+1/8(x-64) or L(x)=1/8x+16. I put in 64 for x in this equation and got 24. However I dont think I am doing it right!
