Someone please help me. i am a lil behind. i need really quick answers now. so please just put the answer and then the explaination. Choose the equation below that represents the line passing through the point (-2, -3) with a slope of -6. y = -6x - 15 y = -6x - 20 y = -6x + 15 y = -6x + 20 plus one attached
Choose the equation that represents the graph below. y = x - 3 y = -x + 3 y = -x - 3 y = x + 3
OpenStudy won't provide you with those quick answers. You have to be willing to engage in the learning process.
For the first one, an easy way to go about it is by plugging in that point given and see which equation holds.
You have the point (-2,-3) and you have the slope -6 But all the equations listed have slope -6 So like I said all you need to do is plug -2 for x and -3 for y And see what happens with both sides Both sides equal=> that is your answer Both sides don't equal=> that is not your answer
y=mx+b all equations are in this form where m is the slope
i dont have time to put in another hour trying to figure these last questions out. the last hour put me way behind.
im sorry but right now i need quick answers for a good score. i got the whole thing done by myself besides these few. i think i deserve a quick answer. so please just help me.
lol
That is not helping. That is cheating and is against OpenStudy's code of conduct at openstudy.com/code-of-conduct . I'm willing to help and I have been helping you.
yes u have and thank u for that. and i dont just want the answers, i want someon to post the answers and then the explaination for it so i will have my quick answer plus a scource to go to when i need more help or forget what i need to do.
b& hammer
if i forget or something i will see the explaination and be fine. when its the loooooooooong trial and error explaination, its very confusing. at least for me anyway. @Algebraic! u are not helping at all. please go to another question. your in troll mode haha
You're attempting to convince a mod that cheating is acceptable. gl with that.
no im not. and its not cheating. if i just wanted straightup answers then and only then could you call it cheating. but i want a quick xplaination. and the mod is wanting to go through a long process that i dont have time for. im about to get locked out anyway because the mod spent an hour of my time already. and didnt even tell me what the answer was in the end.
You could've done this problem and ten others like it in the time you've wasted hopelessly arguing.
yes probably but since you people like to argue i have lost that time.
Yeah, it's someone else's fault.
i got a faster answer with explaination on y!answers. thats sad.
You won't mind being b& then I guess.
