Prove cosh x + sinh x = e^x so far i got cosh x + sinh x=1/2(e^x+e^-x)+1/2(e^x-e^-x)

If you factor out 1/2, you can see that you get 2*e^x for the rest of it. Then, it becomes e^x when multiplied by 1/2. No?
