Simultaneous Equations using substitution. 2x+3y=6 x+2y=5 I've tried and tried but I keep ending up with wrong answers after checking them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the second equation isolate x so it's z = -2y + 5 then plug that into 2x + 3y = 6 have you got that correct? :]
