Think of the decimal as being at the end of the number. Move this # to the 3, as seen in the picture.
You should have counted 5 steps, from the end to 3. DO NOT go after 3.
You just made 347,000 turn into 3.47
Now, using the number you had in the 5 steps, multiply 3.47 x 10^5
