compare the aniaml cell to a house ■Cell membrane ■Cell wall (plant cell only) ■Chloroplasts (plant cell only) ■Cytoplasm ■Cytoskeleton ■Endoplasmic reticulum ■Golgi bodies ■Lysosomes (animal cell only) ■Mitochondria ■Nucleus ■Ribosomes ■Vacuoles

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Cell membrane = outer walls of house ■Cell wall (plant cell only) = outer walls of house ■Chloroplasts (plant cell only) = power (electricity) generator ■Cytoplasm ■Cytoskeleton= wood holding house up ■Endoplasmic reticulum = kitchen? it makes proteins and lipids which aren't food they're more like workers and parts of cell membrane (lipids) ■Golgi bodies (golgi apparatus) are like closets and ■Lysosomes (animal cell only) = (disposes damaged organelles and unwanted particles) garbage can/bathrooom? haha ■Mitochondria = kitchen? cellular respiration is done here so it creates energy ■Nucleus= bedroom? (controls the actions in cells holds DNA) ■Ribosomes = these make proteins so maybe kitchen utensils? ■Vacuoles = fridge (holds water, alkaloids and nutrients) this is a silly assignment
