The circumference of O is 180cm. m

OpenStudy (linknissan):

2*3.14*r=180 so r=90/3.14=28.66cm length of ABC=L=r*angle

OpenStudy (linknissan):

r=28.66..and convert 40 in radians and multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A circle has 360 degrees, and yours has a circumference of 180. So if 360 degrees cuts your circle into 360 equal pieces, your circumference cuts your circle into 180 equal pieces. The cool thing here is that 360 is 2 times 180, so the 360 pieces are exactly half the size of the 180 pieces. Similarly, if you take just 40 of those 360 pieces, you'll get just 20 of the 180 pieces. Try to draw a picture

I converted the 40 into radians, and multiplied by 28.66 and got 19.77 rounded up to the answer, 20. Thank you!
