y = mx + b ; solve for m is it : Y / M = b + x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for M means it will look like: M = stuff here there should be nothing on the same side as the M, except the M.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This was a yes or no question ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you ^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i said no, i just gave a short explanation as to why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well then what's the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No , that is right. I just checked it in the back of the book.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the answer is as follows: y = mx + b y - b = mx (y-b)/x = m notice m is on one side, and everything is on the other.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well... either you posted the incorrect question or the back of the book is wrong. cause i can gurantee that after you solve for m you won't have that answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

O, No . it's right , what you're saying.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha sweet good deal
