Are there lecture videos downloadable? The email I received was a little vague. Can someone clarify.

What about MIT 6.189, A Gentle Introduction to Programming Using Python. ?  Are there downloadable videos or is this new content to be available when class starts?

Nope.  The Mechanical MOOC course will use the assignments and structure of 6.189, but the videos from 6.00SC.
