i am a semi professional short story writer and i am having issues with my newest one i need a topic and some characters if yall could think of a good one for the teen male section i need help please and thankyou i write horror and relative stories but this one i have to write for teen boys andand what ive written befor has never appealed to them

You should write about something that would grab their attention. Teen boys mostly think about girls, so write about something having to do with females.

i thought most guys liked horror but none seem interested i even started writing my stories like in the movies where there is a whore that dies first in the woods with the jock but they only seemed slightly interested.

well, for boys this is a complicated thing because girls are more interested in reading than guys are. (not trying to sound sexist.) maybe you should write about abuse. like a story about a guy that is abusive toward his gf and then just write about it. that would mostly grab anybody's attention. guys would think its SO messed up that they would want to read it. ahaa

Well, there could be the girlfriend of course, the abusive boyfriend, and if you want to add a small twist to it you could add in another guy that takes the girl away from him and makes her feel better about herself and then the abusive guy turns all obsessive and stuff, okay im getting carried away but that would make a good story!
