5/n-12=-1/n

sorry about the wait haha \[\frac{ 5 }{ n } - 12 = \frac{ -1 }{ n }\] \[\frac{ 5 }{ n } - \frac{ 12n }{ n }\] that way we have an lcd and can subtract the number so 5-12 is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 5 }{ n } - \frac{ 12n }{ n } = \frac{ -1 }{ n }\] multiply by N to rid of the fractions \[5 - 12n = -1\] subtract five from each side\[-12n = -6\] divide by 12 you get -6/-12 which turns into 1/2

5 over n - 12=-1 over n

thnks any way sory for all the confusion
