nth term. i dont understand.

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

5, 8, 11, 14, 17 \[n_0 = 5,\space n_1=n_0+3 =8, \space n_2 = n_1 + 3 = 11, \space n_3 = n_2 + 3 = 11 + 3 = 14 \]

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

So, the nth term would be the term before the nth term + 3: \[term_n = term_{n-1}+3\]
