OpenStudy (anonymous):

What percent of the cell cycle is spent in interphase?

OpenStudy (prakharluv):

When the cell enters into INTERPHASE it undergoes into three stages, that are (i)G1 phase (ii)S phase (iii)G2 phase the cell spent 70-80% in the interphase stage.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it like 75% then? That's what it looks like to me in the picture.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is around 90% ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It also depends on the type of cells. But most of a cells life is spent in interphase.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ninety percent or more of the cell cycle is spent in interphase. During interphase, cellular organelles double in number, the DNA replicates, and protein synthesis occurs. The chromosomes are not visible and the DNA appears as uncoiled chromatin.

Not to be rude, but I know what happens during interphase. I just want to know what percentage of the cell cycle is spent in interphase. Thanks for all of your answers though! (: I appreciate it
