Is japanese something that you can take, at your school?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you take spanish and know it well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh that's interesting. How did you come to learn japanese?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You became fluent in japanese just from having taken it in middle school? How long did you study?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i took it in 6-9 i had a very good teacher that taught us to speak it. im not as fluent in reading and writing as i dont remember kanji very well but i do know hirigana and katakana

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I see. You took it for about four years then? It's pretty neat that your school offered Japanese to such a young age group. You're pretty lucky. Where did you go to middle school?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

harmony science academy (euless texas)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh neat, I just looked it up. It looks like a really good school. And it's free. I might have liked to go there. Anyway, you're not taking japanese anymore?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i planned too but mom didnt know i was only allowed 3 electives and she choose health pe and art :( so i dont get a launguage this yr but nxt yr i will at k12 actually

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh that's good! I'm glad you'll be able to pick it right back up again.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

definitly im going to japan for senior summer so yeah i need to study as much as possible :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What an exciting opportunity! I would have loved to be able to go myself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its going to be awesome i cant take you thou sorry bro

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Boooooo. Lol really I hope you'll have fun. I bet it will be.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gotta raise money so yeah fun fun fun :D you know any jobs thatll take a 15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh boy, money. Yeah I know what you mean. Unfortunately, I don't know of any legal jobs that'll take on a 15 year old, I'm sorry. When I was 15, I helped my dad out at a laundromat business. And I didn't get any legal pay, but he did pay me nonetheless. If you have any connections to anyone who would pay you under the table for some kind of work, the might be an option, you know? Just be sure you know the person well, just to be safe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

... right now im making 500 a month because im working at a mechanic shop and i sell stuff on ebay. is that a good income for a month?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yeah that sounds pretty good actually.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a question about japanese, if that's okay? I have a sentence that I put together when I was trying to help someone else with their homework: くだものやに行っていちごを四つとレモンを八つかってください。 I was trying to say, "Please go to the fruit store and buy four strawberries and eight lemons." First off, does that sentence sound correect? Do we need to add another を right before かって? Because without the を there, it almost looks like we could have つかって, which means "use."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think it needs the wo
