OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Transcended social and political boundaries in order to save the world.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All through the book, Huck was a real hero; saving Jim,going off on that great adventure beautifully described by Twain, accomodating all kinds of villains and rapscallions like the King and Duke- so many acts of heroism by Huck in the book and so many interpretations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha right on! lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huck because he changed the most from the beginning to the end of the novel. he started out as a product of southern, white society, thinking that slaves were not as good as he was and thinking that slaves were animals as opposed to humans. as the story progresses, huck begins to see jim as a human being and friend, as evidenced by: feeling bad for the tricks he played on jim, hearing jim cry out in the night for his children, and ultimately not turning jim in, saying he would go to Hell.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Huck here because he initiates much of the action and is ultimately--through his cleverness and personality--responsible for Jim's escape.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That did it! That helped! Thank you so much! :)
