When graphing rational fractions, are the zeros found by making numerator equal to zero

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

look like thats true f(x) = 3x - 3 ----- 4x^2 f(x) = 0 when x = 1 (this makes 3x - 3 = 0)

Thanks I am really bad at math and am studying for a test.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yw

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

be careful though....you have to factor out and simplify the rational function before setting numerator to 0

Thanks just learning the rational and polynomial graphing rules. Can be confusing
