Max has 12 cords of wood, and he gives 3/4 of it to his friend Bob who, in turn, plans to give 2/3 of his share of the wood to his son. How much of the wood goes to Bob's son?

Well it would be 9

So his son would get 9 * 2/3 = 6.. :)
