A shaded sector covers 2/3 of the circle. If the radius of the circle above is 4 in, what is the area of the sector in terms of pie?

Well, you haven't given a pic but if it is the area of the shaded sector u want, then it is 2/3 of the area of the circle (pi*radius^2)
