THIS IS WAY TOO DIFFICULT. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. PLEASE HELP? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE ;)

If you were to use the elimination method to solve the following system, choose the new system of equations that would result after the variable z is eliminated in the first and second equations, then the second and third equations.3x - 7y - z = -143x + 3y + 2z = 12x + 5y - 2z = -16



3x - 7y = -142x + 5y = -16

9x - 11y = -275x + 8y = -15

9x - 11y = -273x - 7y = -14

2x + 5y = -165x + 8y = -15

The trick is to break the first equation, with 3 equals signs, into 3 equations each with one equals sign.
Then just rearrange those 3 equations to give z as the subject.
Now you can eliminate z and combine those 3 expressions together.
