OpenStudy (cwrw238):

an integer can be negative as well -5, -6 etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i guess, but always remember whole numbers can be decimals, and/or negative just not a fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can not*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah...lol a fraction is a decimal technically so, remember that

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yea 4 = 4/1

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

i don't remember if 0 is taken to be an integer? i think it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/4 = 1 what's your point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kara-13 what are you talking about?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is what is an interger,, right so i answered what was asked...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kara-13 "A intereger is a who number and it is a fraction,, postive/negative numbers..." your grammar isn't going to help him much, and an integer is a whole number, and is not a fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well honey sorry everyone make mistakes so that's what I just did,, too sorry.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're guiding him to the wrong answer.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

what kara means is you can convert any integer to a fraction thats why i wrote 4 = 4/1 the latter is a fraction.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then why did he delete his post?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
