One student uses a flat toothpick as a mining equipment in a cookie mining lab. In your own words, explain how changing mining techniques or tools in a cookie mining lab could have both pros and cons and apply it to the real world.

i think that the fact that it is a cookie mining lab it would not apply at all in the real world but the pros and cons on one hand. pros the flat toothpick will make bigger chucks come off and easyer to mine,but the cons are that the flat toothpick will not be as pricise as a normel toothpick and may make the cookie not useible.
