OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x/13 +1/2 =6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 2x }{ 13 } + \frac{ 1 }{ 2 } = 6\] like so?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x/13=6-1/2 2x=11*13/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vipul somehow left out that 11 was a fraction \[2x = \frac{ 11 }{ 2 } * \frac{ 13 }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x = \frac{ 11 }{ 2 } * \frac{ 13 }{ 2 }\] sorry when he divided 13 he ALSO multiplied 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then if u solve it x=11*13/2 x=11*7.5 =82.5
