Describe the process to construct an equilateral triangle with vertices PQR using only a compass and straightedge.

First draw a straight line equal to the length of one of your triangle's sides. Open up your compasses to a radius equal to that line's length. Place the point on the end of the line and draw a wide arc. Repeat on the other end of the line so that the arcs intersect. Where they intersect is the third point of your triangle!
