Can someone help me do this equation? (a^3x^4/-ax^2)-(a^2x^3/-ax^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you already have a common denominator of -ax^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see if you can factor the numerator, they have some a's and x's in common, pull dat sheet out and maybe cancel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, but can you give me step by step because I did it for homework and I got it wrong and I don't know where I got it wrong.
