he dare to dive into the dark non-seen bottom lake alone to fight with the Grendel's mother when he have the message about Gendel doing bad things, he instantly organizes his men and sails to him he self-sacrifice when he faces the dragon. Though his men are so scared and run away, he still keeps on fighting until dead to kill the dragon. I hope I can help you a little bit. :D

about brave, he also dares to fight with Gendel with bare hand leadership, he plans his men pretend to be sleeping to attack Gendell surprisingly. he leads his men to chase after Grendel when the monster is wounded. he also takes his men fight with the dragon ( they get freak and run away LOL)
