thank u, but just for understanding what about c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Federalists were those people who supported ratification of the new Constitution to replace the Articles of Confederation. They took the name "Federalist" because the Constitution established a federal system of government. After the first election of George Washington, two political parties developed. One, led by Jefferson, called the Jeffersonian Democratic-Republicans and the second, led by Hamilton and Adams, were called the Federalists. They favored a strong national government with states having less power than the federal government. They favored an industrial United States and close ties to Great Britain.

I was thinking between b and c, so i went with b cause thats what i thought it was

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so, i should just go with b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Go with c now I'm leaning more towards that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks, reason? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The AntiFederalists, who aimed to prevent the creation of a strong central government, felt that the Constitution authorized too much federal power at the expense of states' rights.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They did not want to cede to a federal government the direct authority to raise taxes, exercise judicial power over the states or regulate interstate commerce.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it because they both believed in democracy, but the anti-federalists believe that it should be protected with a written document, but the federalists didn't?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that is one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u so c it is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
