Graph the equation by plotting points: y+4=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can't graph it here but the coordinate is (0,4). Start from the intercepting point of the y-axis and the x-axis (0,0) and go up 4 spots.

|dw:1350253605800:dw|First, get the "4" from the left to the right of the equation: y+4 = 0 ---->>> y = -4 The idea of "plotting points" may actually be confusing here... where is the x? How can I plot points with nothing except y = -4?? That is actually the solutions... the solution is all points where y = -4. Any x value you can think of, the y value is just -4.

nevermind was wrong. y=-4 go down 4 do not move to left or right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -4 is a line, not just a single point.
