Melinda charges $4 per hour for babysitting. Mrs. Garden does not want to spend more than $25 for babysitting. What is the maximum number of hours that she can have Melinda babysit? (Answer in inequality form, please)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4h ≤ 25 ->h ≤ ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, okay. That makes sense, but then would h=6 because that is the maximum number, while not being a decimal (hopefully that makes sense XD)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

" What is the maximum number of hours ..." I wouldn't post my solution, if it doesn't make sense,:P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then the question does imply it wants a whole number of hours, correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the MAX number of hour is less than 7, so yes, h = 6 hrs!

Okie, thanks a lot for clearing that up for me! (I'm a bit clueless at math)
