23**0.5  is 23 to the 1/5th power....

For No 4 just type in the formula at the bottom but substitute a,b,c with the given numbers.

Aha! So when I needed to do square root I imported math and then did sqrt, but this is much more elegant. I'd forgotten my math, thanks!
