OpenStudy (chrisplusian):

can you solve for c in this equation with exact #'s???

OpenStudy (chrisplusian):

\[4=\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\ln (5)-\frac{ 2 }{ 5 } +c\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

what are exact numbers? XD like with only using integers? is that what you mean? :o

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Or rational numbers or something? :D

OpenStudy (chrisplusian):

well this is the result of an integration problem and they wanted me to use a computer algebra system to get the indefinite integral and then plug in the x and y values from a coordinate point to solve for c. so I need an exact value

OpenStudy (chrisplusian):

so that I can plug it back in for "c"

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Oh interesting :o

OpenStudy (chrisplusian):

not really!!! lol do you have any ideas??

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hmmmmmm :\

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Nah i have no idea XD soz

OpenStudy (anonymous):
