My answer is y=-x + y

Oops, the slope is -1not 1 so my calculations are wrong...

so we have y=-1x+b, we then plug in a point from the first pair to solve for b and we get the qeustion.

On the second one your slope ends up being 2/0

since you cant divide by 0 the slope is undefined which means its a vertical line.
Every x coordinate is going to be 5 so the equation is
x=5
