Similar to the last problem, DF is equal to EG. Set the equations equal to each other. 2(x+5)-7=3(x-2) Distribute. 2x+10-7 = 3x-6 2x+3=3x-6 2x-3x = -6-3 -x = -9 x=9 Plug x back into the equation for EG. 3(9-2) = 3(7) = 21 (D)
