What part of the digestive system?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kind of need more information

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you please help me? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there a picture u are looking at of this question? there are a few different parts of a digestive system

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its for the large intestine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm... as far as my knowledge goes.. and i could be wrong.. but i didnt think you absorbed nutrients through the large intestine. I know water soaks back into the bloodstream, but generally its for waste collection

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, without seeing the picture its hard to answer the question. is it a multiple choice question? most absorption occurs in the small intestine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its not a multiple question... but the previous question was "Where does the undigested food go?" then I answered "The undigested food goes to the large intestine." So i think the question i asked is about the large intestine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahh okay. in the large intestine.. water is the main substance taken back into the blood stream. in the small intestine it is nutrients. in the stomach its drugs and alcohol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good luck.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
