What is the perimeter of a square with a side of 3 feet?

OpenStudy (phi):

perimeter is the length around the square. add up the sides

Parth (parthkohli):

If one side is \(\rm bleh\) number of feet, then all sides will be \(\rm bleh\) number of feet.

Parth (parthkohli):

For the perimeter, you have to add all the sides. The perimeter of a square with \(\rm bleh\) as its side will be \(\rm bleh+bleh+bleh+bleh\) or \(\rm 4 \cdot bleh\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Perimeter is the measure of all the sides added up. In a SQUARE all sides have the same length. So if one side is 3ft, all the sides must measure 3ft. So 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = Perimeter. *Or you could multiply the given length by the 4 equal sides of a square. So 3 * 4. This is ONLY with a square.
