Part I: Create two triangles that are not similar. Label your triangles and write the corresponding similarity statement. Describe, using complete sentences, the side lengths of the two triangles you created. Part II: Explain, using complete sentences, why these triangles are not similar. (Will post my response below)

Does my answer look good?? Part 1: Starting with the first triangle, ABC, which measures A=2 B=2 C=4. Then, moving to the second triangle, DEF, which measures D=3 E=5 F=7. Part 2: These two triangle are not similar because they are non-congruent to each other with no corresponding angles.

A=2 B=2 C=4 This is not a triangle. Think about it: |dw:1350316500738:dw| with 2 sides of length 2 , the biggest the 3 side can be is something less than 4. If the 3 rd side is 4, then the two legs must form a straight line (to get to 4), and the 3rd leg lies on top of this line... you get a line, not a triangle.
