Charles Darwin wrote some books about the evolution, that is basicly genetics, I believe Theodosius Dobzhansky wrote quite a couple, as well as Darwin's "bulldog", Thomas Huxley.

I Will be more constructive and less condescending by answering the valid question , I just finished the yale eco / genetics ocw and the prof is amazing and has written some great books .
