Solve 2x + 3 - 2x - 8 = 1 ----- ----- x-4 2x+1

This is a long one. You're going to want to multiply (2x+3) by (2x+1) and (2x-8) by (x-4) to clear the fractions on the left side of the equation. To balance you then will want to multiply 1 by both (2x+1) and (x-4). I recommend keeping them factored and no multiplying it out.
